The Road to Fairyland

No secrets there...just a shady spot illuminated by pretty leaves of autumn.
I think the other side of the bridge has hope waiting.

I love the title of this. It fits perfectly. If you look hard enough I wonder if you can see the faeries.

I think my screen cleared before I was able to post on this photo.

I have to disagree with you sara :) I don't find this one eerie at all. In fact, just the opposite.

Everything appears to be glistening from the top of the roof of the car to the sidewalk lit up by the car's headlights. Though black and white, everything looks brand new and shiny.

Was it raining outside?

This photo brought to mind a scene in my favorite play Les Miserable, where Eponine walks the streets of Paris alone at night and sings these words...

"In the rain the pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river

"In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight.."

And of course, Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera..."Night-time sharpens, heightens each sensation . . .
Darkness stirs and
wakes imagination..."

Yep, all that from the photograph. Great photo!
